Last Year

In 2007 the choir sang on several occasions in its home church of St. Mary's Cathedral, as well as in St. Peter's church in Buckie, Pluscarden Abbey, St. Andrew's Episcopal Cathedral Aberdeen and the Kirk of St. Nicholas in Aberdeen.

This Year

In addition to providing music for special Masses, such as weddings and funerals, the choir has a number of events in its calendar for 2008.

In January the choir led the Aberdeen annual three cathedrals ecumenical service, and in March provided the music for one of the city's Lenten 'Station' Masses (in St. Francis of Assisi church).

The choir's most recent events were

  • Leading the singing at the annual diocesan pilgrimage to Pluscarden Abbey on Sunday 29th June.
  • In St. Mary's Cathedral on Monday 30th June at a Mass to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Fr. Chris Brannan's priestly ordination.

Forthcoming events include

  • Saturday 4th October - lunchtime concert in St. Andrew's Episcopal Cathedral.
  • Wednesday 17th December - Readings and Carols for Christmas, St. Mary's Cathedral.

And Beyond...

For September or October 2009 there are plans afoot for the choir's first foreign foray ... to Paris.
